Scavenger, just what does it mean?

In the old days way back when, they would call a Tax collector a “scavenger.” Also someone who cleaned the streets at one time, was called a scavenger. Now mostly we call people that hoard things “scavengers,” or any animal that eats a dead carcass. Some of the scavengers also feed on decaying refuse or decaying organic matter.

Now that we know what a scavenger was in time past and what a scavenger is as of today, here it goes.

This past Saturday the 15 of April 2013 my step-son and I went to the county dump, to drop of some stuff that he had in his garage. As we pulled up to the drop off sight, he asked me, “Do you see the Bald Eagles?”

I answered, “no” and asked, “where?” He replied, “On your left, there are five of them. Then I saw two of them, with Vulture, Seagulls and some other birds.

There were so many Seagulls they could have filled a mall parking lot easy, I never saw that many, not

even on the beach. I was so astonished to see this, because I live in Central Florida, about one and one half to two hours (1 ½ to 2) from the nearest beach! I couldn't believe what I saw next, in the middle of all the birds, I saw a Bald Eagle scavenging for food.

I posted a picture on facebook, of the Bald Eagle at the dump, and called it “an answer to prayer.”

The reason I called it that, because, I asked G-D for a Bald Eagle in the natural setting, in other words in the wild.

 And that is what I got. I never thought about it being at the dump, well yes I did, but only for a few seconds. I was so happy to see and be able to get a picture of a Bald Eagle. One of the comments was this: “He does not belong in the DUMP. He is glorious.”

 I agreed with the person that posted the statement, never thinking much about it until tonight, Wednesday the 18,of April 2013. I was in church, waiting in line for a word of prophesy, when it came to me. I just

know that G-D was talking to me personally.

This is what HE said to me. “The Eagle was at the dump foraging / scavenging for food. Does he not know what he is? He does not have to scavenge for food like that, with the other “Scavengers.” He can eat better than that, if he only realizes who and what he is.”

Sad to say there are other “Scavengers” out there,that DO NOT KNOW WHO AND WHAT THEY ARE! They are known as Christians, believers in G-D, children of the Most High G-D, children of the KING of KINGS and L-RD of L-RDS. And if we are of HIM, then we are of Royal Blood.

Here is what the Scripture says about us:

“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of HIM who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:”             1Peter 2:9

But not only that alone but also “Heirs of HIS Kingdom”

“And if children, then heirs; heirs of G-d, and joint-heirs with CHRIST; if so be that we suffer with HIM, that we may be also glorified together.                                                                                    Romans 8:17

“And if ye be CHRIST's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.”  Galatians 3:29

“That being justified by HIS grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.”

“Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

“By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac

and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: For he looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is G-D.”                                                                                                  Hebrews 11:9-10

“Hearken, my beloved brethren, Hath not G-D chosen the poor of this world rich in faith, and heirs of the kingdom which HE hath promised to them that love HIM?”                                                           James 2:5

It is high time, that we learn and know who we are in Y'SHUA our MESSIAH. If HE is our Brother and HE is the SON of the Most High G-D, and the Kingdom is HIS, then we are Heirs to the Kingdom also.

“And she said, Truth, L-RD: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.”

Matthew 15:27

“But JESUS said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread,

and to cast it unto the dogs. 'And she answered and said unto him, Yes, L-RD: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.'”                                                                                                Mark7:27-28

We have to remember that we do not have to feed of the crumbs that fall of the table, but that we

get the whole enchilada! We can eat directly of the food that is on top of the “TABLE!”

“Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the L-RD, and touch not the unclean

thing; and I will receive you,” 2 Corinthians 6:17

So what are you going to do?

Are you going to “SCAVENGE?”

OR...

                                 As 2 Corinthians 6:17 says “Come out” from among them...

 

and ….

We, You, I must “Realize” just who,

“We, You are” / “I am”

This is what it means to 'Realize' : “to grasp or understand clearly”

So let us understand clearly that we are not “Scavengers” BUT … Children and Heirs of the

“MOST HIGH G-D”

                                   So let me ask you again, what are you?

Here is something else that came to me tonight.    As I was typing this, I wanted to use the words “American Bald Eagle” instead of just plain Bald Eagle. Something hit me right between the eyes. The American Bald Eagle “Foraging” for food to eat, to survive. In other words the American Bald Eagle

foraged and or scavenged for food so it could stay alive. For so many years the American Bald Eagle

was flying through the air proudly symbolizing our  Nation, without any worries on what it is going to eat. Just maybe this Bald Eagle; the American Bald Eagle is a sign from the 

                                                                   “MOST HIGH G-D”

What is awaiting America?

If it does not turn from sin and back to G-D?

So America take this American Bald Eagle as a

“WARNING SIGN” ,

“REPENT FROM ALL SIN”

and

TURN to the MOST HIGH G-D

or

PAY THE PRICE

The name of G-D is HIS character.
