ROMANS 6:23

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death;

What do we mean by death

In Genesis 3;6-7 it says that Adam and Eve ate the fruit of the forbidden tree, of knowledge of “Good and Evil.”

Did they die?
NO...they did not, but YES ... they did!

There seems to be a conundrum or not...

Yes Adam and Eve did not die a Physical Death, they died a Spiritual Death.
By spiritual death I mean that they lost the Glory of G-D; because, of disobedience to G-D's WORD.
Here is the thing G-D knew that Adam and Eve would chose the fruit of that tree , the tree of knowledge of good and evil.

That is why G-D had a “PLAN”right from the beginning, and that plan was HIS SON. Being G-D HE also knew that it was not time for HIS SON to be BORN and live in this world. So G-D did the next best thing; HE killed a few Animals to make a covering for their Nakedness. G-D also knew that the covering of animal skins would not last, and at the right time HIS SON would have come down to this Earth as a little Baby, live among us; show us the love of G-D, go to the Cross to die, shed HIS Blood; because, of our disobedience.

Here is the “GOOD NEWS”,

HE did not stay in the Tomb!

HE did not stay Dead!

On the Third day, G-D, through the HOLY GHOST, Raised HIS SON from the DEAD!

Fifty days later JESUS went to be with the Father in Heaven, sitting at the right hand of G-D the Father, making Intercession for us; just like Moses did in the Wilderness for the people of Israel.

John chapter 3 tells us that we have to have a new birth,as we are Born Again.
We once again be in the glory of G-D just as Adam and Eve were in the Beginning.

Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Rom 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Joh 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:4 Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.

Rom 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Rom 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
Rom 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.
Rom 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.
Rom 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
Rom 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.
Rom 5:14 Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.
Rom 5:15 But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
Rom 5:16 And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
Rom 5:17 For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)
Rom 5:18 Therefore as by the offence of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life.
Rom 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.
Rom 5:20 Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound:
Rom 5:21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
